Ultimate Guide: How to Cut Audio Perfectly

Step 1: Load Your Audio File

Click on the main upload area or simply drag and drop your audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG, or M4A) into the browser. Because we use client-side technology, your file loads instantly without consuming your internet data.

Step 2: Use the Waveform Editor

Once loaded, you will see a detailed cyan waveform. A highlighted amber region will appear. You can interact with this region in two ways:

• Visual Dragging: Grab the thick white handles on either side of the highlighted region to expand or shrink your selection. Click in the middle of the region to drag the entire block.
• Precision Typing (Pro Feature): Scroll down to the Start Time and End Time inputs. You can manually type the exact time (e.g., 01:15.50). Our smart interface will instantly sync the visual waveform to your typed numbers.

Step 3: Preview the Cut

Never guess where your audio ends. Click the "▶ Play Selection" button. The player will loop exactly within your selected start and end points. You can use the + and - buttons to adjust your cut by milliseconds for that perfect beat drop.

Step 4: Generate and Download

Happy with the preview? Click the glowing "GENERATE MP3" button. Your browser will securely compress the audio segment. Within seconds, a green "DOWNLOAD .MP3" button will appear. Click it to save the file straight to your device.
